Singapore guests visit BIG

Mr. LIM Chuan Poh, Chairman of Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore, visited BIG on September 25, 2008. Prof. YU Jun, Vice Director of BIG, held talks with the visiting group. Both parties introduced their research directions and progress, and exchanged ideas on the development and application of genomics and bioinformatics.

A*STAR is a luminous Constellation, charting the course for Singapore's Science and Technology. It comprises the Biomedical Research Council (BMRC), the Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC), Exploit Technologies Pte Ltd (ETPL), the A*STAR Graduate Academy (A*GA) and the Corporate Planning and Administration Division (CPAD).
