On 20th March, Professor YU Jun, Vice Director of Beijing Institute of Genomics (BIG), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), was invited by Beijing Yizhuang Bio-Pharmaceutical Park for a presentation on ‘From Human Genome Project to Personalised Medicine Era’ at Beijing Yizhuang Bio-Pharmaceutical Industrial Innovation and Development Forum.

At the forum, Prof. YU presented the history background and development of bio-medicine for human, described the modern techniques for medical care and the prospect of applications on personalised medicine, as well as how the fast developing technology benefited human healthcare. During his talk, Prof. YU also shared his own experience on how research on human genome explored in China and the whole world. The two-hour speech was fascinating and enjoyable.

Beijing Yizhuang Bio-Pharmaceutical Industrial Innovation and Development Forum is organised byTechnology Bureau atBeijing Economic-Technological Development Area and Beijing Yizhuang Bio-Pharmaceutical Park. The forum is a platform for pharmaceutical companies and institutes to share academic findings and information.
