American Scientists Visit BIG

A group of American scientists, lead by Prof. Guido Marcucci, Vice Director of the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, with Profs. Clara Bloomfield and Robert Lee, visited Beijing Institute of Genomics (BIG) on April 14, 2011.

Prof. WU Chung-I, director of BIG, hosted the meeting with the guests. Both sides discussed on scientific topics and cooperation issues. Prof. Marcucci also gave a presentation entitled “microRNAs in AML: from the bench to the clinic”. Afterwards the guests visited the large-scale sequencing platform, high-performance computing system, and Prof. WANG Qianfei’s laboratory in the institute.
