International Training Course endorsed by the UNESCO's " the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development " was held in CNCB

The 2026 International Training Course on Biological Data Integration, Sharing and Application, sponsored by the 2026 International Training Program of CSCB and the ANSO-BHBD Program, and was also endorsed as an Activity of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (2024-2033), was successfully held in Beijing on June 2-5, 2026. The training was organized by China National Center for Bioinformation (CNCB) and Chinese Society for Cell Biology (CSCB), and undertaken by the Global Biodiversity and Health Big Data Alliance (BHBD). 14 researchers from Russia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and 8 international graduate students at institutions of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) originally from Ethiopia, Kenya, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Thailand attended the course.

Prof. Wenming Zhao, Deputy Director of CNCB, delivered a welcome speech, hoping that this training course would further enhance the technical proficiency and capabilities of researchers in the field of life and health sciences, as well as promote the construction of an international cooperation network for biological big data exchange, sharing, and application.
