Operation and Maintenance Department
The Operation and Maintenance Department is responsible for operating and maintaining the computing, storage, backup, network, and security systems, as well as infrastructure such as data center environments, at the China National Center for Bioinformation; undertaking the management, maintenance, and utilization of shared instruments and equipment; providing support services for bio-big-data storage and computation, information analysis, and functional research; maintaining the center’s classified computer systems; and enhancing technical safeguards for the center’s digital infrastructure and cybersecurity capabilities. The team currently has 12 members.
